TiE Singapore Charter Member, Hari Krishanan, CEO Property Guru, files for ASX IPO, aims to raise up to $256m

Southeast Asian property platform PropertyGuru, whose backers include PE giants TPG Capital and KKR, has officially filed for an IPO on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). According to its prospectus, PropertyGuru is seeking to sell 84.5-93.3 million shares at an indicative price range of A$3.70-4.50 each. The price represents 9 to 10.9 times the company’s forecast revenue for the calendar year 2020.

TiE Singapore Board member, Ashish Wadhwani , Managing Partner Ivy Cap Ventures, Ivy Cap Ventures invests in Healthcare tech platform Pharmarack

The Pune-based startup, Healthcare tech platform Pharmarack has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round from IvyCap Ventures. Founded in 2016, Pharmarack plans to use the funds to expand its network and broaden its product offerings in the healthcare sector.

“Improving access to quality healthcare products by making them 100% available and at right prices to the right pharmacies is a critical mission for us at Pharmarack. The next 18-24 months are very exciting for us as we scale all our offerings and footprint across the country,” said Amit Backliwal, co-founder and CEO.

TiE Singapore Board member, Suresh Shankar, Founder Crayon Data showcased in the business times

Suresh Shankar, founder, and CEO of Crayon Data, which operates largely in the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East now. It is weighing five options for its next big expansion: Australia and New Zealand, the US, Europe, China or Japan.

Crayon Data, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI) startup is another example of a company that controls the point of discovery. Its mission is to help businesses regain control in the marketing arena, using its maya.ai engine to target customers with information the companies already hold.

TiE Singapore Chairman Emeritus, Puneet Pushkarna sharing his views with the 5th Cohort at Cisco

Since its inception in 2016, the CISCO Launchpad program which aims to create solutions for the next generation of internet users has seen a great response. Earlier this year, when Cisco invited applications for the 5th Cohort of Launchpad, 450 startups were screened to be part of this unique outreach initiative. Of these, eight startups made it to the final cohort after an intense selection process.

SuperStartUps (SSU) Asia, a platform to recognize the most loved start-ups in Asia, today honored top eleven startups as winners at the third edition of SuperStartUps Asia 2019 Awards in a partnership with TiE Singapore.
