Overview
TiE Women is dedicated to embrace, engage and empower women entrepreneurs across the globe. The program is aligned with TiE’s pillars focused on fostering entrepreneurship. The sector-agnostic program is aimed at women-led startups, irrespective of the size of their enterprise, origin, standing or background.
Pitch Competition 2023
Opportunity to win a place in the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition and up to $50,000
for winner in Singapore (Nov 2023)
PHASE 1 – CHAPTER LEVEL (MAY – AUG 2023)
- Invite Applications (Until 30th June 2023)
- Screening Interviews (July 2023)
- Semi Finals (July 2023)
- Chapter Finale (August 2023)
PHASE 2 – CHAPTER AND GLOBAL LEVEL (AUG – NOV 2023)
- Mentor Connect (August to October 2023)
- Accelerator Sessions (August to October 2023)
- Global Finale held in Singapore at TiE Global Summit in partnership with Singapore
Fintech Festival (November 2023)
Global Finale: Note: Travel, stay, visa & etc., should be self funded by the participant
Rules and Regulations
Eligibility Criteria
- Female-founded or co-founded startups ONLY.
- Female co-founder(s) must own at least 33% of the equity in the company.
- Companies in business for less than seven years only at the time of application. (Company registration after Jan 1, 2016)
- Startups should be looking to raise funds, as final participants may receive investor interest.
- Startups should be registered in Southeast Asia.
Prize Money
- South East Asia Pitch Competition winner will get an opportunity to participate in TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2023, Singapore and winners to win $50,000 prize money (Equity-free prize money to pitch competition winners and runner-ups)
