I Breathe For India aims to raise USD 1 million and provide support for India, in its battle against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The virtual fundraising event will be graced by some of India’s most prominent and inspiring figures from the entertainment and sports communities. Notable names include Bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, and Rana Daggubati, producer and film composer A.R. Rahman, sports champions Sania Mirza, Shikhar Dhawan, and more. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards non-profit organisation GiveIndia, to support India’s battle against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The funds raised will be used to address four major areas of COVID-19 relief efforts in India:
👉🏻Purchase and secure oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, ventilators, and other medical supplies in critical need in the immediate and short term
👉🏻Arrange and coordinate transport for oxygen concentrators and critical medical equipment
👉🏻Work with federal or state government institutions and NGOs to support their objectives for medium-term medical infrastructure
👉🏻Setting up of oxygen plants in hospitals and supporting other rehabilitation efforts in the mid-long term.

Thanks a lot TIE & ESG team for arranging a Session with VC’s as it is very critical for us at this stage to understand their viewpoint on our pitch and if we are pitching in right manner. This kind of session really helps us when we are raising capital and will be facing tough questions from some of the most seasoned investors.
Startups survive because of the ecosystem, so ask for help and help each other” – Srinath, in one of the webinars. I have connected with a number of VCs, entrepreneurs and experts in no time. One common characteristic of all the people we met was that, they were so open to helping others. As a team we gained a lot of collective knowledge and experience.
An excellent event, well planned, well organised and well executed. The engagement of the speakers with the startups was amazing, and very useful.
The SG-INDIA immersion program have been very beneficial in helping me connect with many mentors and like minded entrepreneurs. The wide reach of the program also help exposed start ups to different economic, social and cultural norms which could only be understood via a first hand connection with someone on the ground. I am thankful for such an opportunity and would definitely look forward to joining another if the chance arise in future.
I am relatively new within the startup environment but this program has equipped me with the necessary insights and knowledge to understand the landscape. Though I may not be a startup founder, the training provided has also given me the skills required to navigate through pitches and presentation, even outside the Indian context.
As a early stage Start-up, after gaining Product-Market Fit in Singapore, the last 01 week was an eye-opener on what to look for and prepare to venture into market like India.
Lot of learning’s and lot of work ahead for me!
Since the trip, we now have a U.S. investor, two paying clients in U.S., and
a partnership with DriveWealth. Looks like there will be lots of 12-hour time difference calls for us.
The power talks and tips from the SG GoGlobal event were absolutely motivating & relevant to hear, especially from people who have gone down the same path. I also met amazing people and formed friendships built to last! It was definitely a good place to gain visibility upon some traction.
Being a part of the delegation helped us validate our business model and network among potential investors, customers, and partners. We are sure that this experience will be a milestone in our growth
TiE’s programs were so useful and timely for us. Two TiE members became the first two to invest in our round, and brought in two additional investors from their network. This created early momentum which helped us close a sizable seed investment round. Many thanks to TiE Singapore.
